Slasher/ Ripper, the fifth season of the Slasher anthology series, is set in 19th-century Toronto and follows a serial killer known as "The Widow" who targets the wealthy elite. The series centres around Detective Kenneth Rijkers, who is tasked with stopping The Widow and unraveling the mystery behind the murders, which are linked to a past event from 12 years prior.
